Hello

May 7, 2010

Hello everyone,

Sorry I’ve been a tardy and not posted on this blog for quite a while. In the time between this post and my last post I have returned to Australia after seven long years in Korea and seeing as I was no longer in Jeonnam thought it’d be a bit odd to post on Jeonnam Life.

I have set up a new blog, which is in its infancy and will be added to substantially in the upcoming weeks, on my and my girlfriend’s adventures in Australia – at this point we plan on staying in Australia for the rest of this year and see what happens after that. I plan on keeping this blog and adding more edgy, thought-provoking posts every now and then – the other blog is going to be a lighter, travelogue-style blog. I may change the name of this blog from ‘Jeonnam Life’ however, as that title’s no longer very relevant.

Anyways, hope you’re all well. Take care and be sure to check out ‘Ben and Hyun-jeong’s {Excellent} Australian Adventures‘!

Cheers

Hello Rainy Season

June 22, 2009

I haven’t blogged for the last three weeks due to a number of factors including lack of interest and lack of time. Though, with the coming of the rainy season – or 장마 as it’s known here – last Saturday, I’m sure there’ll be plenty of time in the next 2,3,4,5 weeks for some extra blogging!

Change in Theme

March 2, 2009

I decided to change the theme (or appearance) of this blog just for the hell of it. I may change it back or change it to something else in the future. Let you know what you think of this current setting and if it’s not popular I’ll change it.

Some sit at home doing nothing, others see the world

January 8, 2009

I thought I’d give a shout out to Matthew Lee’s blog entries at travelblog.org. During my visit to Australia, my uncle mentioned that his nephew (on the other side of his family) keeps a blog which is well worth a look at.  I’ve only just started reading them but think they’re great and a real inspiration for young people wanting to get out and see the world, to do just that. Matthew, if you ever happen to read this and find yourself in the south end of South Korea, you’re welcome to crash at my place and share a beer or two!
